An invitation to shoot + a day rental on a lens = My first time doing sports
I had a great time shooting for the Baseline Barnburners LUG team for their first game. I rented the lens to go with my 35mm prime I had and took what I think is some good work for my first time doing hockey, and first real attempt at sport photography
After being contracted by the Barnburners to shoot their game, LUG Sports Ottawa reached out with the opportunity to shoot all the games the coming week. All 5 of them.
I ended up shooting a few more games for Lug Sports, specifically the Ottawa division All Star Game. Presented by Pride Tape (https://pridetape.com), You Can Play, and Bounce, it is a good way to wrap up the middle of the season, and allow these important brands and causes have some focus on the main social medias.
